Prokaryotic vs. Eukaryotic Cells
Eukaryotic and prokaryotic cells have many differences. Eukaryotic cells contain membrane-bound organelles, such as the nucleus, while prokaryotic cells do not. Differences in cellular structure of prokaryotes and eukaryotes include the presence of mitochondria and chloroplasts, the cell wall, and the structure of chromosomal DNA. Eukaryotes are complex single celled organelles, while prokaryotes are simple single celled organelles. The two only have a few similarities. They both have ribosomes and cytoplasm present in them. They also both have a cytoskeleton within the cell to support them. These are not all of the differences and similarities between eukaryotes and prokaryotes, their are many more. These are just some of the major ones.
